Event Participants / Groups

Many of Sangam’s participants come in groups of around 10 people. During the monsoon season (June – September), many participants are in their teens and 20’s travelling to Sangam and India with their leaders during summer break from their studies.

Sangam runs some Community Action Projects during this time to meet the needs of this age group, but all ages participate.

 The majority of participants come from the UK and North America, but Sangam also regularly receives participants from Asia-Pacific and Europe regions.

 Events such as our advocacy seminars attract a diverse range of participants from all over the world ( If you any questions in regards to financial assistance available, please email our World Centre Manager. We also encourage people to come to events independently to have the chance to really get to know others from all over the world. Often friends come together in pairs or small groups.
