Who can come to Sangam

• Friends and family of Guiders & Scouters
• People NOT associated with Guiding or Scouting

  • Adults must accompany anyone under the age of 18 years

At Sangam we welcome all members of Guiding and Scouting from around the world, and any friends and family who may be travelling with them. People of all ages come to Sangam, but adults must accompany anyone under the age of 18 years.

Can men stay at Sangam?

Men are welcome to stay at Sangam. Males who are members of Scouting are encouraged to attend Sangam events as participants, and male friends and family of Guiders and Scouters are also welcome to attend as participants. Male Scouts or men travelling alone can also stay at Sangam as independent guests. 

Can young children come to Sangam?

Young Adults and Children are welcome to stay at Sangam as independent guests with their families. Children can also participate in Sangam events, but those under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent or leader, and it is up to the adult to decide whether or not the theme or focus of the event will be appropriate for the child/young adult bearing in mind the cost etc. Sangam cannot restructure its events to work around children’s needs.
