Community Volunteer Programme
The Community Volunteer Programme (Flyer) at Sangam World Centre offers a unique opportunity to live the WAGGGS mission whilst staying in the supportive environment of Sangam World Centre. After an extensive two-week orientation programme, participants are placed with an Indian community organization to volunteer for three months.

Share your energy with children as you teach, facilitate, nurture and create opportunities. Volunteer four days a week for three months in your individual placement with an Indian community organisation. Use your skills to lead games and songs, teach English children or adults. Learn
An educational programme includes a two-week orientation programme to introduce you to Indian culture, living in Pune and community development issues. Throughout the programme, activities will explore Indian culture and community development. Volunteers will meet weekly to share their experiences and questions with each other and with Sangam’s Programme Coordinators. Additionally, weekly courses will provide an introduction to Hindi, the national language.Enjoy
Trust
Throughout the programme, advice and support will be provided. Volunteers can be confident in the knowledge that they have the support and experience of a well-established Girl Guiding/ Girl Scouting centre to keep them comfortable.
