Sangam is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic individual with a passion for people and working in an international environment. The position of Programme Manager at Sangam will become available in February / March 2008. Are you interested?

 

No day is ever the same.   • Waking up to the sounds of the early morning Call to Prayer in the neighbourhood next to Sangam or
  • Living in one of the most vibrantly developing cities in India or
  • Discovering the kaleidoscope of colours, sounds, smells and tastes of this diverse country or
  •  Working with hundreds of beautiful children whose lives you help to enrich as they in turn enrich yours or
  •  Living amongst one of the largest populations on earth and the largest democracy in the world.
 

And if you are far from home, then you will experience all sorts of culture shock. You’ll learn to deal with things with a new way of thinking.  You’ll have to learn to manage a diverse team of volunteers, far from home, just as you may be far from home and family.  You’ll have to work in blistering heat and cope with the tropical monsoon. At times you will be tested to the limit of your endurance.  But just think of the excitement of working and living in one of the four World Centres of WAGGGS.
